Summer Camps 2023
Igniting enthusiasm for discovery
Robotics Camp 2023 (7-12 Grade)
ASU’s Robotics Camp is an innovative summer program designed for middle school and high school students interested in science and engineering. Expert instructors use component-based robot construction and programming to teach the latest engineering concepts and technologies. Students will work in teams to design, build, and program a robot. By the end of the camp, groups will test their metal in a robotics challenge.
The camp will be lead by Dr. Gennaro De Luca, assistant teaching professor in the School of Computing and Augmented Intelligence. Dr. De Luca led multiple ASU capstone teams to win top prizes at the Intel Cup in Shanghai and mentors student teams in projects related to education, artificial intelligence, robotics, and quantum computing. He has also taught in the ASU Robotics Camps in collaboration with Professor Yinong Chen, whose material will serve as the foundation for this camp.
