5SUCCESS: A Survey of Computing, Coding, and Engineering Software Systems
SUCCESS is a new summer camp offering at ASU starting May 2024. The goal of SUCCESS is to introduce middle school and high school students (grades 6-12) to the field of computing in a summer camp format. Participants do not need prior computing skills for this weeklong multi-day camp; just willing to develop an interest in computing as a pathway for future study.
Each day, participants will experiment with a different field of computing, including AI, Augmented/Virtual Reality, Mobile/Web development, Game development, Embedded Systems, and Cybersecurity. The camp is designed to be hands-on, experiential, and fun! You will create games, experiment with a virtual reality headset, build an LED message wall, create an AI-based web application, and hone your cybersecurity skills – all without prior experience in programming!
Some scholarships will be made available for students in need.
