Email [email protected] with any questions.

Current SCAI students:

Step 1: Complete the appropriate form:

  • If you are seeking approval to take a course requiring department consent (580, 595, 599, 792, 795, 799, or 784-IE only) you will need to complete the Course Permission Request form. Email approval of the form from the instructor is permitted and will need to be uploaded along with the form.
    • Thesis and Ph.D students: It is extremely important that you provide a detailed progress update and timeline for degree completion. Ph.D students need to include an estimated timeline for degree milestones, such as the qualifying exam (CEN/DSE/IE), the comprehensive exam, dissertation prospectus and dissertation defense. Forms without a detailed timeline will not be approved.

Incomplete forms will not be approved. Email approval of the form from the instructor is permitted and will need to be uploaded along with the form.
